MEET YOUR HOST
Cristina P.
About Me:
I discovered yoga after a lower back injury many years ago. Movement has always been central to my life. For many years, ballet was my greatest passion until I found yoga. Yoga transformed me from the inside out in ways I could have never anticipated. It became the most profound gift that ultimately revealed my purpose and dharma.
I became a teacher to share this transformative practice that has healed not just my physical body, but my heart and soul as well. I completed my 200-hour certification at Himalaya Yoga Valley in India and my 300-hour advanced training with Jonah Kest through Become a Yogi in Thailand. I'm also certified in Yin Yoga and have participated in numerous workshops to deepen my personal practice and refine my teaching skills.
My classes tend to be flowy and challenging, featuring creative sequences that encourage playfulness and freedom. I strive to create a safe space where students feel comfortable being vulnerable and exploring new possibilities. While I provide guidance, I love seeing practitioners follow their intuition and use yoga as a form of self-expression.
Retreat Theme: Connection
Community is one of the most valuable gifts this practice has given me. When surrounded by like-minded individuals, you feel truly seen, grounded and supported regardless of age, gender or any other differing constructs. Retreats create a sacred space for deeper self-exploration and vulnerability. The bonds formed during these experiences transcend friendship—participants become family.
Join us to connect with fellow yoga enthusiasts while exploring a new country with its amazing food and culture.
With gratitude,
Cristina
